The University of Kansas Office of Research manages the administration of research grants and contracts and also has oversight of activities related to technology commercialization and business and industry outreach.

 

The University of Kansas Office of Research advocates for research, implements research integrity requirements, and, through the KU Center for Research (KUCR), manages the administration of research grants and contracts.

KU Core Research Labs is a program to benefit university investigators and industry partners alike. Each lab has experienced professionals and state-of -the-art technology for various needs. The BIO Center serves as one of these core research labs. 

The KU Medical Center strives to educate exceptional health care professionals through a full range of undergraduate, graduate, professional, postdoctoral and continuing education programs. Biomedical research, a topic of intense interest throughout the nation, is the focus of a comprehensive plan to build on our many assets to place the university among the nation's top institutions of higher education.

The KU Cancer Center is working toward a world without cancer and ending the burden of cancer in the Heartland. Innovation and discovery are at the heart of academic medicine, so it is logical they drive the collaborative partnership between The University of Kansas Cancer Center, IAMI, and the BIO Center.

KU Innovation Park | Office of Research in Lawrence, Kansas, represents a unique partnership between local and state entities united to expand the local economy by promoting the local bioscience and technology industries. The center combines three fundamental resources necessary to successfully grow startup companies and collaborations. 

NIH/NCATS is the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences. They are dedicated to taking observations from the laboratory, clinic and community into interventions to improve public and individual health. 

The Kansas City VA Medical Center is dedicated to improving the lives of Veterans and their families through health care and services, teaching and learning, along with research and development. They provide care to more than 50,000 Veterans each year.

Frontiers: The Heartland Institute for Clinical and Translational Research is a network of scientists from across the Kansas City region and the state of Kansas working on translational research - research that transforms laboratory discoveries into treatments and curesIAMI and the BIO Center work in partnership with, and as part of, Frontiers to accelerate the process by which laboratory discoveries become patient treatments.
