Biography

My research focuses on the application of computational modeling/simulation and artificial intelligence (AI) in pharmaceutical research. The major goals are to (1) apply AI and machine learning in oral and subcutaneous formulation development; (2) develop computational simulation methods for drug release/dissolution tests of oral and subcutaneous formulations; (3) develop mechanistic, semi-empirical, and empirical models for pharmaceutical processing unit operations (e.g., mixing, lubrication, drying, etc.); (4) develop machine learning/big-data methods and in-vitro/in-silico models for in-vivo property prediction of synthetics and biologics.
