KU Research

The University of Kansas Office of Research advocates for research, implements research integrity requirements, and, through the KU Center for Research (KUCR), manages the administration of research grants and contracts.

KU Cancer Center

KU Medical Center strives to educate exceptional health care professionals through a full range of undergraduate, graduate, professional, postdoctoral and continuing education programs. Biomedical research, a topic of intense interest throughout the nation, is the focus of a comprehensive plan to build on our many assets to place the university among the nation's top institutions of higher education.


KU Cancer Center
Through world-class research and patient care, The University of Kansas Cancer Center is working toward a world without cancer and ending the burden of cancer in the Heartland. Innovation and discovery are at the heart of academic medicine, so it is logical they drive the collaborative partnership between The University of Kansas Cancer Center, IAMI, and the BIO Center.

Childrens Mercy

Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics is a comprehensive pediatric medical center providing state-of-the-art care for children from birth to age 18. Children's Mercy is consistently ranked among the leading children's hospitals in the nation. Through partnerships with IAMI, the University of Kansas Cancer Center, and the BIO Center, Children's Mercy has been able to advance a number of discoveries to the point that they become treatment options for patients.


Frontiers
Frontiers: The Heartland Institute for Clinical and Translational Research is a network of scientists from across the Kansas City region and the state of Kansas working on translational research - research that transforms laboratory discoveries into treatments and cures. IAMI and the BIO Center work in partnership with, and as part of, Frontiers to accelerate the process by which laboratory discoveries become patient treatments.
MRI Glogal

MRI Global is an internationally acclaimed center for applied research and technology development located in Kansas City. Our accomplishments range from pioneering efforts in environmental and cancer research to cutting-edge work in drug development and high-precision automation technology. 

Stowers Institute

The Stowers Institute makes a significant contribution to humanity through medical research by expanding our understanding of the secrets of life and by improving life’s quality through innovative approaches to the causes, treatment and prevention of diseases.


KU Endowment

As an independent, nonprofit organization and the official fundraising foundation for the University of Kansas, KU Endowment partners with donors in providing philanthropic support to build a greater KU. 


BTBC

The Bioscience & Technology Business Center in Lawrence, Kan., represents a unique partnership between local and state entities united to expand the local economy by promoting the local bioscience and technology industries. The center combines three fundamental resources necessary to successfully grow startup companies and collaborations.
